High productivity parting line featuring double-ended insert geometry

The new inserts have been specially developed for parting applications where a straight insert geometry (not twisted) can fulfill the demands.
The length of the DO-CUT insert is large to enable deep penetration, but it is limited to the insert length (42 mm maximum parting diameter).

The DO-CUT line will be available in blades mounted on ISCAR standard blocks and integral shank tools.
In the first stage DO-CUT inserts will be available in 2 and 3 mm widths with C - and J -type chipformers.

A special manufacturing technique enables supplying the new inserts with a substantial price advantage.
The DO-CUT inserts will be available in PVD coated carbide grades IC1008 and IC1028, which are very suitable for parting applications and thus enable reaching very high levels of productivity and profitability.
